It is a truism that nutritious eating is umbilically linked to better grades. As such, a community based committee has been formed to help to improve schools meals at Nevisian Primary Schools and in some cases implement school meals. This is a collaborative effort in association with The Nevis Island Government. The Committee has put in place some 40 school meals which are designed to avoid monotony in meals while improving the nutritious content. The Committee has been successful in raising funds to re-outfit the Kitchen at the St John's Primary School and St Thomas' Primary School with industrial state of the art kitchen material and is now engaged with ensuring that the School Meals are standardized across schools after having its pilot program in St John's and St Thomas' Primary.
